As noted, WWE held their Quarter 1 financial call from Stamford, CT. on Thursday, with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and WWE Co-Presidents Michelle Wilson and George Barrios talking WWE business and earnings.
During the call, it was revealed that the WWE Network averaged 1.56 million paid subscribers for the first quarter of 2018. WWE announced a record of 1.81 million paid subscribers the day that WrestleMania 34 was held last month, with a total of 2.12 million subscribers.
The 1.56 million paid subscribers represents an increase of 5 percent, which is around what WWE had expected. The 1.81 million figure from the day of WrestleMania 34 represented a 9 percent increase from the day after WrestleMania 33 last year.
