We finally have our first participants in what will be the largest battle royal in WWE history, as multiple competitors for the 50-Man Battle Royal Match at this Friday’s WWE Super Show-Down 2019 pay-per-view have been announced.
During a commercial break segment at Tuesday night’s “go-home” edition of SmackDown Live, Elias revealed that he will be entering the match. WWE did something similar on Monday night, as Mojo Rawley entered himself into the match during a commercial break segment on RAW.
Additionally, Karl Anderson took to social media on Tuesday evening to announce that he and Luke Gallows will be making the trip to Saudi Arabia to compete in the 50-Man Battle Royal.
While WWE has yet to reveal a list of participants for the match, there have been rumors that NXT Superstars will be flown in to Jeddah for the match, with Matt Riddle being one specific name that has been making the rounds.
A.J. Styles has been rumored as well, as he has been included in the advertising for the show, but does not have a match yet with only two days remaining until the show. With “The Phenomenal One” recovering from an injury as of late, it would make since for WWE to have him work a match with limited physicality.
WWE Super Show-Down 2019 goes down from the King Abdullah Sports City’s King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 7th. The event will stream live via the WWE Network starting at 2pm Eastern Time / 11am Pacific Time.
