On Monday morning, SmackDown Live General Manager Paige announced that Big Cass has been pulled from his Money In The Bank Qualifying Match due to injury.
Paige confirmed that Big Cass will not be competing against Samoa Joe on Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown Live as advertised, and instead, Jeff Hardy vs. Daniel Bryan will take place, with the winner facing Samoa Joe in a MITB Qualifier in two weeks.
“Due to [Big Cass] injury, [Daniel Bryan] will face [Jeff Hardy] tomorrow night on [SmackDown Live] in a second chance match,” wrote Paige via her official Twitter page. “The winner will face [Samoa Joe] NEXT WEEK for an opportunity to qualify and enter the Men’s [Money In The Bank] Ladder Match.”
