SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – No. 16-ranked Augustana wrestling continues open action at the Holiday Inn Open in Kearney, Neb. on Saturday. Competition is set to begin at 9 a.m.
Augustana last competed at the Dakota Wesleyan Open where the Vikings placed 11 wrestlers, including three champions. TJ North won the 125-pound bracket while Jeremiah Peterson earned the title at 133 pounds and Bradyn Neises took home the title at 165 pounds.
Brandon Charbonneau (141 pounds) and Jeff Nielsen (197) pounds each garnered second-place finishes in their respective weight classes.
Augustana will compete in one more open tournament on Saturday, Dec. 1, at MSU Moorhead before its first dual against Air Force on Dec. 7.
