WWE's Jimmy Uso out 6-to-9 months with knee injury

One half of The Usos is on the injured list.

First reported by Ringside News and later confirmed by our Dave Meltzer, Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) will be out 6-to-9 months with a knee injury, believed to be suffered during the triple threat ladder match at last month’s WrestleMania.

It’s unknown what the extent of the injury is outside that the 34-year-old will need surgery.

He and brother Jey had returned to SmackDown in early-January after missing nearly half a year following Jimmy’s July 2019 DUI arrest. Before WrestleMania, they had been feuding over the brand’s tag team titles with The New Day and The Miz & Morrison.

On Saturday, WWE announced a four-way match for the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view featuring the champions New Day vs. Miz & Morrision vs. Forgotten Sons vs. Lucha House Party.

This is the first long term injury Jimmy has suffered since beginning in WWE. The duo are two-time Raw tag team champions and four-time SmackDown tag team champions.
