It has been rumored for several months now that Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania this year. That match has since been confirmed, but increased speculation has pointed towards Lesnar dropping the belt to Reigns at the show before leaving the company and embarking on a UFC comeback. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that Lesnar is actually interested in staying with WWE, but he has not decided where he will be going just yet. In the meantime, WWE is prepared to start downplaying Lesnar on television as most in the company assume that he could be on his way out after WrestleMania.
It was reported recently that Mae Young Classic competitors Abbey Laith and Sage Beckett were both released from their WWE contracts earlier this week. Beckett still has yet to comment on the rumors of her departure, but Laith has just informed fans on social media that she was indeed let go from the company. In case anyone was wondering, it did not take long for Laith to get back on her feet. She just announced that she will be returning to the independent wrestling circuit under the name Kimber Lee for an upcoming Beyond Wrestling event. Not long after confirming that Abbey Laith is no more, she was pleased to announce that Kimber Lee has returned.
Dear @WWENXT and @WWE ….. Thank You. Thank you for all the opportunities you gave me in the last year. Thank you for everything I was taught and I wouldn’t trade that chapter of my life for anything. Now my path may be changing, but the Crown Jewel is still very much alive????

The Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook Watch continues to be a fun and enjoyable show each Tuesday night. Fans have witnessed husband and wife duos compete together on the show, and a possible romance has been blossoming between Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman as of late as well. It seems that Team Little Big may not be the only on-screen couple to come out of the tournament. WWE is now teasing that Charlotte Flair and Bobby Roode could be falling for each other. The two Smackdown champions currently compete on the Mixed Match Challenge as the Robe Warriors. Liv Morgan of the Riott Squad group has sent her response on the matter.
