The star is located on Hollywood Boulevard near Highland Avenue, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section. A witness spotted the suspect about 5:50 p.m. Sunday spray-painting the star and followed him until police arrived, Madison said. This is one of the gentler assaults of the president’s star, which has been so frequently vandalized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, community leaders have pushed for its removal.

A man has been seen at Trump’s star twice, both times bending down, drawing swastikas and then taking off, TMZ.com reported, adding that Ortega allegedly admitted to both taggings.
