Livestream: George H.W. Bush Returns Home To Texas

HOUSTON, TX — Following five days worth of public adoration for a statesman called “a genuine leader—one who was distinguished, resolute and brave,” President George H.W. Bush’s body has returned to Houston Wednesday afternoon; one last stop before he is laid to rest Thursday in College Station. That comment about Bush, who died Friday at the age of 94, was made by former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney who was one of 3,000 political leaders to pay their respects to America’s 41st president at the National Cathedral.

Bush is aboard “Special Air Mission 41” and is expected to land at Ellington Field around 5 p.m.

Bush will be taken to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church where he will reside until Thursday morning, where his funeral will be held. He will be taken to his presidential library in College Station where he will buried next to former first lady Barbara Bush and their daughter, Robin, at about 3:45 p.m.

ABC has a live feed of Bush arriving in Houston below.
