A bullet train may soon run between Chennai and Bengaluru, covering the distance in Just two hours and twenty-five minutes as against a Shatabdi which currently is the fastest train on this route, taking seven hours for the journey.
On November 22, Martin Ney, German Ambassador to India handed over the final feasibility report on the Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru bullet train to Railway Board Chairman Ashwani Lohani.
