Kerala is recovering from one of century’s worst natural disasters. The floods have drowned the state, and people are in desperate need of help and it will take some time for normalcy to return to the citizens of Kerala. However, in order to rehabilitate and lend a helping hand to one another, people are putting away differences to speed up the clean-up process in the state.
One such case is that of a group who helped clean up a temple. The noble gesture was undertaken by workers of Wiqaya, a dedicated 17 member team of Muslim students in the state. They volunteered to clean an Ayyappa temple at Kolpadam near Mannarkkad in Palakkad district.
