Yesterday, when SpaceX Block 5 Falcon 9 rocket lifted off the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, the co-founder and CEO of Exseed Space, Kris Nair tweeted, “WE ARE IN SPACE”.
The tweet was important because it was about India’s first private satellite Exseed SAT1 taken to orbit by Falcon 9. The satellite is expected to be a boon for ham radio operators in the country as ISRO’s microsatellite HAMSAT had ceased to exist almost four years ago.
