Camila Alves is mom to three young kids, but the Brazilian model still has an impossibly fit body. What’s her secret? Matthew McConaughey’s stunning wife says the answer to fight bloating and get a flat stomach is something new moms already have in their kitchen: baby food!
“I did a cleanse, and there were a lot of pureed meals, and my body just agreed with it,” she told Delish. “It wasn’t realistic to do all pureed meals, so I do a combination.”
While trying to lose weight because she felt “really swollen” in her stomach area, Alves started switching out solid lunch for baby food from her organic line, Yummy Spoonfuls. The model explains that she takes three pouches of a veggie-flavored baby food, sautés them with olive oil and spices, and then tops with more EVOO, salt, pepper, and turmeric before serving.

That’s not the only flat tummy trick she shared. “I think the big thing, really, is listening to what your body tells you,” she said. “If you spend three or four days eating clean, then gradually start putting different foods back into your diet, you can get an idea—‘when I eat this, I don’t feel good’—and know what works for you.”
