Lifetime has crowned Australian Burgess Abernethy (H20: Just Add Water) and Laura Mitchell (Menendez: Blood Brothers) to portray Prince William and Kate Middleton, respectively, in its new feature Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, the network announced Thursday.
Young actors Preston Karwat and Briella Weintraub will fill the roles of Willam and Kate’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They join previously announced cast Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan Markle, Murray Fraser as Prince Harry, Bonnie Soper as his late mother Diana, and Maggie Sullivun as Queen Elizabeth II.

Production is already underway in Vancouver with eyes on a spring debut on Lifetime. The film follows Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s love story from their first meeting through to their fall engagement announcement, which was the subject of much speculation for months.
