This week got you saying, “Oh, Mylanta”? Here’s some good news, then, for those of you missing the Tanners in your life: Fuller House is returning for its third season Sept. 22, Netflix just announced.
The premiere date is extra-special thanks to its connection to the original Full House, which premiered on the same day in 1987. This 18-episode third season will be split into two parts, with the first section debuting Sept. 22 and the second coming to the streaming service in December.

Fuller House revolves around Full House characters D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) journeying through adulthood in the house they grew up in. All of the show’s original stars, including John Stamos and Bob Saget, have appeared in the revival, save for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played Michelle Tanner in the original iteration.
