To many June 13 may just seem like an ordinary day, but we’re here to argue that it’s actually pretty significant due to two—er, four—reasons.
On this day in 1986, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were born and thirty-one years later, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins Rumi and Sir Carter came into this world. Coincidence? Probably. But let’s be real: What are the odds that the world’s two most famous sets of fraternal twins share a birthday. It’s pretty wild when you think about it.
Aside from the birthday, they also share an astrological sign. All four of them are Geminis, which means we can expect them to share a few personality traits as well. And fun fact: the Gemini symbol is twins.
According to horoscope.com, Geminis are energetic and quick-witted and they’re known for having two different sides that they display for the world. These traits come in handy when you’re famous, and while the Olsen twins have stepped away from the spotlight and the Carter twins just turned one, no matter what they’ll always be somewhat in the public eye.

Like the Olsens, the Carter twins will have to figure out how to grow up in the spotlight. Mary-Kate and Ashley joined Full House as babies and then went on to have a very successful career as child actors before becoming full-time designers for their labels The Row and Elizabeth & James.
Who knows what career path the Carters will follow, but with parent like Beyoncé and Jay-Z we can only hope they follow in their parents footsteps or take a cue from the Olsens.
