Congratulations are in order for Kerry Washington and hubby Nnamdi Asomugha! The Scandal star and the former San Francisco 49ers cornerback just welcomed their second child. The couple revealed that they gave birth to a to a baby boy named Caleb Kelechi Asomugha at 9:56 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Los Angeles, People reports. They also have a 2-year-old daughter together, Isabelle Amarachi.
The notoriously private star announced her second pregnancy in May, and proceeded to dress her bump in everything from fitted, cream-colored sheaths to flirty, floral dresses and chic all black looks.
While Washington sightings are rare, they’re always worth the wait. In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the star was asked who she told about her pregnancy first, her parents or Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes. “My parents don’t want me to answer that,” she replied with a laugh.
