To avoid rigorous workouts but still have the same effects on their body, youths in Delhi are injecting themselves with horse drugs and freely risking their lives. Gym freaks (read ‘drug’ freaks) are injecting themselves with Adenosine MonoPhosphate (AMP) shots–illegally administered to horses to enhance their race performance.
These shots are mostly taken as a pre-workout.
An investigation by Mail Today has found that people are doing this for longer workout sessions without getting tired and for faster but unnatural and harmful muscle-building.
The drug has risky side effects because they are not meant for humans at first place.
