West Ham United latest: Hernandez linked with Valencia, Ibrahimovic rumours rubbished, Arnautovic replacement identified?

West Ham United face an uncertain fortnight as we edge closer to the close of the January transfer window.

Thus far, the Hammers have confirmed the free signing of former Arsenal playmaker Samir Nasri, who made a winning Premier League debut against former side Arsenal on Saturday.

As well as that, 20-year-old Declan Rice has committed his future to the club after signing a five-and-a-half year contract.

However, the saga surrounding Marko Arnautovic continues to swirl ominously over the head of manager Manuel Pellegrini.

As talkSPORT exclusively revealed last week, the striker is keen to move to China before the end of the window.

However, the rumour mill has been in overdrive with a host of possible replacements linked and several stars potentially on the move.

Check out the latest news below!

Marko Arnautovic out before the end of the week

Marko Arnautovic will complete his move to the China by the end of the week, according to reports.

The Austrian will move for a fee above the previously quoted £35million to an unnamed Chinese Super League.

According to The Sun, the Hammers resisted the first offer for the 29-year-old.

But improved terms mean they will cash in on their star asset.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is NOT joining

While Arnautovic is set for a move, it seems as though any faint chances the club have of signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been extinguished.

The LA Galaxy striker has been linked with a temporary loan move away from the MLS side – not too dissimilar to what David Beckham did with AC Milan.

However, sources close to the club have confirmed the 37-year-old will not be coming to the Hammers.

Callum Wilson wanted

Should (or when) Arnautovic leaves the club, Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is the No.1 target.

Although Chelsea remain keen on the England international, West Ham want to bring Wilson to east London.

According to Sky Sports, Eddie Howe does not want to sell the striker but he has conceded he would ultimately be powerless to stop him leaving.

Javier Hernandez ‘agrees’ move

Chicharito has reportedly agreed personal terms to move to LaLiga outfit Valencia.

However, West Ham United will block the move as they do not want to be left short in the striking department.

According to Spanish publication Marca, the Hammers would only consider a permanent deal for the striker – who signed for the club in the summer of 2017.

But Valencia are struggling financially and a loan move is all they can currently afford.

Obiang move rejected

The Hammers have rejected a €10million (£8.9million) move for Pedro Obiang from Fiorentina.

The Serie A side wanted to test the club’s resolve after Obiang lost his place to Mark Noble and Declan Rice.

However, according to Sky Sports, the Hammers will only consider a deal if they can find a suitable replacement.
