Real Madrid are plotting a move for Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, according to reports.
The diminutive midfielder has been a regular starter for Pep Guardiola this season, scoring seven goals and registering six assists.
He has shone in a central role after playing as a winger in his debut season at the Etihad.
Silva, 24, only joined City in a £43million deal from Monaco 18 months ago, with Guardiola viewing the Portugal international as a long-term successor to David Silva.
They could face a battle to keep him at the club though, with the Mirror claiming the £70million-rated man is on Real Madrid’s list of summer targets.
The La Liga giants remain interested in signing Eden Hazard to replace the huge void left following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus last summer.
Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric, 33, is coming to the end of his career and Silva fits the bill as a creative midfielder.
Real have endured a difficult domestic season, they are third and seven points off leaders Barcelona.
