Paul Pogba thinks Juventus should be happy to have a player on their side that can score “as easily as he drinks water”.
Manchester United travel to Turin on Wednesday night looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat in the first fixture against Juventus at Old Trafford in Group H.
United are five points behind Juve in their Champions League group after three matches but they remain two and three points ahead of Valencia and Young Boys respectively.
Ronaldo has scored seven goals and laid on six assists for his team-mates in 13 matches so far for Juve since moving from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
And Pogba admits that Ronaldo makes scoring look easy ahead of the clash in Italy.
“I thought it was a really good thing for Juventus [to sign Ronaldo],” Pogba said. “Obviously it’s always good to have players like Cristiano in your team,” he said.
“Playing alongside great players like Ronaldo, like [Lionel] Messi and like Neymar is always a pleasure. Today he is with Juventus.
“I think he is very happy to be here and I think it’s a great thing for Juventus to have a player who scores as easily as he drinks water.”
