Mesut Ozil future: Arsenal star ‘offered to Inter Milan and Juventus’ as Unai Emery seeks to get rid of expensive playmaker

Arsenal have offered Mesut Ozil to Juventus and Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.

The playmaker does not appear to be in Gunners boss Unai Emery’s plans and reportedly wants to offload him to free up some funds to make a move for Barca ace Denis Suarez.

Ozil is the highest-earning player at the club, on a staggering £350k-a-week deal at the Emirates, and his departure would facilitate a move for Suarez in January.

Arsenal’s new chiefs have said the club has no plans to bring in players without selling first – and Emery is keen for Ozil to be offloaded to acquire his targets.

Gunners fans have also grown frustrated with the midfielder with for inability to stay fit for a succession of games.

Italian media outlet, Tutto Mercato Web, are reporting his services have been “offered to Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan”.

The 30-year-old has not featured since he was taken off in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brighton on Boxing Day.

He was also recently left out of Emery’s squad completely for 1-0 defeat to West Ham on the weekend despite being declared fit and training with the squad all week.

Arsenal are facing another season out of the Champions League, currently sitting six points behind fourth placed Chelsea.
