Manchester United manager latest: The favourites to become next permanent boss ranked by bookmaker’s odds

Manchester United continue to search for their next permanent manager with the position to be filled prior to the beginning of next season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently leading the Red Devils on an interim basis, and he has thrown his hat into the ring to be given the job full-time.

Given United have won all five of their matches under Solskjaer it is no surprise he wants to be considered for the role, but the Norwegian faces competition from some big-name coaches for the position.

Mauricio Pochettino of Tottenham is believed to be United’s first-choice to fill the Old Trafford hot seat, while the likes of Zinedine Zidane, formerly of Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone have also been linked.

Furthermore, England manager Gareth Southgate emerged as a shock target of United’s on Sunday, with reports suggesting the Three Lions boss could be in line to take charge of the Red Devils.

But with all these reports suggesting different people could become the next Manchester United manager, who actually is the favourite for the position?
