Liverpool transfer news: Moanes Dabour in, Ben Woodburn to Rangers, Alberto Moreno out?

Liverpool bounced back from consecutive defeats to beat Brighton on Saturday and got their title bid back on track.

Mohamed Salah’s penalty was the difference as Jurgen Klopp’s side stretched their lead at the top of the table to seven points.

But as we reach the halfway point of January, what is the latest transfer news concerning the Reds ahead of arguably their most important six months of football in half a decade?

talkSPORT.com guides you through all the latest gossip.

In

Moanes Dabour (Red Bull Salzburg)

One reported target for Klopp is Red Bull Salzburg striker Moanes Dabour.

The 26-year-old  has been on flying form this season and has already netted 20 goals for the Austrian side.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Israeli is keen on a move to Anfield and is waiting for the call from the Liverpool boss.

The striker recently declared his desire to leave this month although his club have insisted he is not for sale.

The player could be an ideal back-up for Roberto Firmino after Dominic Solanke completed his move to Bournemouth earlier this month.

Out

Ben Woodburn

Reds legend Steven Gerrard is keen on securing the services of the Welshman on loan in his bid for Scottish Premiership glory.

Woodburn has been out on loan at Sheffield United but was recalled by the club this month.

His lack of game time at Bramall Lane meant his loan was cut short after just seven appearances for the Championship club.

However, Gerrard faces competition for his signature with Blackburn, Brentford, Hull, West Brom and Wigan are all interested in the teenager.

Interested parties will have to wait to find out the extent of an ankle injury Woodburn suffered last month.

The youngster picked up the knock during a Blades training session in December before being sent back to Melwood.

Alberto Moreno

It is no secret that Moreno has been left angry at his lack of first team opportunities since his return from an ankle injury.

But with the form of Andrew Robertson it is no surprise the Spaniard has been left out.

Fenerbahce are reportedly preparing a move for the left-back, although a move back to his previous club Sevilla is his preferred destination.

Moreno has made just two Premier League appearances this season.
