Leeds United attacker Pierre-Michel Lasogga has said that he has no intention of returning to Hamburg as it is his ambition to play in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old is on loan at Elland Road from the Bundesliga strugglers and the probability of him returning to HSV is slim.
Hamburg are fighting against relegation and are liable to cut their wage bill at the end of the season, with the forward, whose deal is up in the summer, liable to be one of those shipped out due to his €3.4 million salary.

“Sure, I’m still an HSV player, but maybe my childhood dream [of playing in the Premier League] will come true,” told Sky Sports (via Bild). “I feel good here, everything is alright.”
Lasogga scored 30 goals in 107 appearances for HSV but believes that the physical style of the game in England is better suited to him than the quicker paced variety in his homeland.
“Here you are given more freedom to use your body,” he said. “There is less whistling from the referees than in Germany.”
He has scored 10 goals in 26 appearances with Leeds in the Championship, while he has chipped in with a further four assists.
Leeds presently lie 14th in the second flight, 12 points off a play-off spot with only eight matches remaining.
