We all know there are teams in the Premier League who are performing above and below expectations.
After a tough start to the season, Cardiff City are slowly picking up more points than one would have thought, while Everton’s recent poor results have been a surprise.
Over at the CIES Football Observatory, they have been using their algorithms to work out points projections based on their performances this campaign.
And after 22 games, they have now compared this to the actual points per match the English top flight clubs have accrued.
