Chelsea transfer news: Barcelona reportedly offer £50m plus Malcom for Brazilian winger Willian

Barcelona are understood to have renewed their efforts to sign Chelsea winger Willian.

Sky Sports are reporting that the Catalan club are proposing a ‘player plus cash’ deal which would see Malcom move in the opposite direction.

Chelsea rejected three bids from Barcelona in July for the 30-year-old Brazilian with the last offer worth £65million.

This fresh bid is thought to be worth £50million plus Malcom.

Barca signed the 21-year-old from Bordeaux for £38million in the summer after their attempts to lure the Chelsea man to the Nou Camp failed.

He has struggled to impress, however, and has not featured regularly with only five appearances in La Liga.

Willian still has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract and is a key member of Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

He has made 30 appearances for the Blues in all competitions this season scoring four goals and adding five assists.
