Chelsea and Manchester United in transfer fight to sign Crystal Palace starlet Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is wanted by Chelsea and Manchester United.

Since being handed his debut against Tottenham in February 2018, the 21-year-old has established himself in Roy Hodgson’s side and won the club’s Player of the Month award for March.

The Mirror report that Chelsea and Man United are keeping tabs on the youngster, while Premier League champions Manchester City are also reported to have looked at a potential deal for him.

This season Wan-Bissaka has made 24 appearances in all competitions and was rewarded with a debut for England’s Under-21s – playing the full 90 minutes against the Netherlands in September.

His display in Palace’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in October was hailed by former Newcastle and England striker, now Match of the Day pundit, Alan Shearer.

“I thought he was absolutely magnificent,” Shearer said.

“20 years of age. It was only his 16th Premier League start and he looked so very very comfortable.

“Everything he did, whether it was the timing of the tackle, or one-on-one using his pace to recover. Whether it was him not panicking when winning the ball. He looked very experienced out there.”
