Arsenal & Tottenham dealt blow as Malcom eyes PSG move

The Bordeaux winger has expressed his admiration for the Ligue 1 leaders, having previously expressed his “dream” of playing for Bayern Munich

Bordeaux forward Malcom has expressed his admiration towards PSG as he continues to angle for a summer transfer.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals and provided six assists in Ligue 1 so far this season, with Bordeaux currently 12th in the table.

Malcom has repeatedly spoken of his desire to play at a higher level, with numerous clubs across Europe having been linked with signing him.

Indeed, the Brazilian confirmed in February that he will look to leave the club this summer, and has also claimed that he “dreams” of playing in the Premier League, as well as for Bayern Munich.

The attacker has now added PSG to that list, with reports suggesting the Ligue 1 leaders could look to scoop up another exciting young talent this summer.

“PSG is the dream too,” he told beIN SPORTS.

“It’s great [to play for] clubs that will always play at a high level; in the Champions League, winning the championship.”

Malcom’s words may well have ended any hopes that Tottenham and Arsenal may have of signing the player in the summer, and he has confirmed that PSG have already held preliminary talks over his potential acquisition.

“I know there were conversations,” he added.

PSG are 14 points clear of AS Monaco at the top of Ligue 1.
