L’Équipe report today that Marseille forward Bamba Dieng has been the subject of interest from Premier League clubs, although no concrete offer has come in yet.
The 21-year-old, currently on international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, is said to have been valued at around €10m plus bonuses – although director Pablo Longoria hopes to raise this in a bidding war.
Newcastle are notably among the clubs to have shown interest, although the Magpies are looking to wrap up other deals first. Crystal Palace are also a potential destination, while Watford, Brighton and West Ham have also made enquiries.
Should Dieng or fellow forward Arkadiusz Milik leave, OM are looking for replacements, with notably Udinese man Gerard Deulofeu on the list, although a move for the Spaniard would seem difficult.
