A women’s tag-team match was held off-air exclusively for those in attendance at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois at Saturday night’s AEW Revolution 2020 pay-per-view, as the All Elite Wrestling fans were treated to a match taped for next week’s edition of AEW DARK.
Before the “Buy-In” pre-show kicked off the televised portion of what was the first All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view event of 2020, Britt Baker and Penelope Ford picked up a victory over Riho and Yuka Sakazaki in women’s tag-team action.
Baker and Ford picked up the victory following an assist from Kip Sabian. The finish saw Baker force former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho tap out to her LockJaw submission-finisher.
The Britt Baker & Penelope Ford vs. Riho & Yuka Sakazaki tag-team contest taped prior to the AEW Revolution 2020 PPV will air as part of the AEW DARK broadcast scheduled to premiere on the official AEW YouTube channel on Tuesday, March 3.
