The E! Network is making changes to the upcoming season of Total Bellas. The upcoming season was supposed to culminate with the Nikki Bella-John Cena wedding but, obviously, that will not be happening.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted this week that the production crew already has a break-up scene with Nikki and John filmed but that was not their recent break-up. They made up three days later. They will have to recreate their most recent break-up for the cameras.
During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Brie Bella said that fans of the show will see all of the drama unfold. “This was Total Bellas 3 and we were going to see Nicole and John’s journey all the way to the altar. Obviously, there is going to be one episode missing because there is no wedding.”
There’s no word on future plans for the show after this upcoming season now that Cena and Bella have broken up. The season premiere will begin on May 20 on the E! Network.
