Real Madrid vs Paris Saint-Germain Betting Tips: Hazard set to open Champions League account

The Belgian has scored just one goal since his transfer to the Spanish capital from Chelsea but our tipster is backing him to shine on Tuesday night

Real Madrid can qualify for the Champions League knockout stages for the 23rd season in a row with victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.

Los Blancos lost the reverse fixture 3-0 back in September thanks to a double from former Real star Angel Di Maria, and there could be more goals when the sides meet again in Madrid.

Karim Benzema is 10/11 (1.91) with bet365 to score anytime in the Spanish capital, with the Frenchman having plundered two goals in Real’s 6-0 win over Galatasaray last time out.

That brace kickstarted a run of five goals in three games for Benzema and he will be determined to add to his tally of one goal in 11 appearances against PSG.

Kylian Mbappe is PSG’s Even money (2.0) favourite to find the net, having opened his Champions League account for the season with a hat-trick at Club Brugge last month.

Available at 5/4 (2.25) is Luka Jovic, whose season has not gone to plan since his big-money move from Eintracht Frankfurt. Indeed, the Serb has managed just one goal in 11 appearances in all competitions and has played only 28 minutes of Champions League football this campaign.

Mauro Icardi has been PSG’s main man in Europe this season with four goals to his name and 10 in all competitions, so may prove a popular bet at 7/5 (2.40) at bet365.

Fellow forward Edinson Cavani has struggled for both fitness and form this season and is an 8/5 (2.60) shot to score his first PSG goal since August 18.

Neymar has played only six games this term due to a combination of suspension and injuries but his return of four goals in that time may see him attract plenty of attention at 8/5 (2.60).

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard is still searching for his first Champions League goal in Real Madrid colours and is also 8/5 (2.60) to break that duck against the French champions.

Gareth Bale has done little to endear himself with Real fans in recent weeks but is 7/4 (2.75) to score his third goal of the season, whilst Rodrygo – who scored a hat-trick against Galatasaray – is 2/1 (3.0).

Also of interest could be Sergio Ramos at 11/4 (3.75), with the Spaniard having scored two Champions League goals this season and is the club’s designated penalty taker.
